Mayco Black Cobblestone

The moody twin of White Cobblestone: black cobbles splitting into a cracked, cobbled texture, just like those 2010s crackle nail polishes. Somewhere between cooled lava and cracked leather. Striking on simple forms that let the texture be the whole show. Warning - apply it over a base coat of another glaze, because when applied directly to bisqued clay, the crackle pieces fall right off, but they grip beautifully to a glaze layer underneath. The sample picture is Black Cobblestone applied over a white glaze. Non-toxic, but the textured surface is difficult to clean and eat from.
